Becoming Maman, a comedy show about raising French kids one bilingual tantrum at a time.

Amber and Sarah aren't French, but their children are. This show explores the complications and the comedy that arises when raising your children in a different culture and in a different language. Follow Amber and Sarah as they discover what being a Parisian Maman means as opposed to being an English Mummy or an American Mom.

From losing doudous, pushing yoyos and healing bobos, laugh at the mistakes we've all made but they admit to.

L'une est Anglaise, l'autre Américaine. Amber et Sarah ont eu un enfant avec leur maris Français et sont donc maintenant des Mamans expats à Paris.
Toutes deux explorent avec beaucoup d'humour les péripéties qui surviennent quand on élève son enfant dans une autre culture et une autre langue.

Entre les "doudous" perdus, les yoyos et les bobos, elles n'ont pas fini de vous faire rire avec leurs aventures de Mamans Parisiennes !

Je suis pas maman, mais peu importe ! Ce duo a beaucoup de talent, et leurs histoires sont universelles. À voir absolument. True confession : je suis allée le voir 3 fois car j'avais envie de faire découvrir à plein d'ami·e·s !

I'm neither living in France or a mother, but that didn't matter. This show is hilarious. Sarah and Amber are natural performers and their chemistry on stage is great. This hour long show will keep you laughing throughout and there's plenty of gags in both French and English. You don't need to speak French to understand! The show is great and I would recommend you catch it - or go see Sarah and Amber perform stand up!

This is genuinely a great show and I've seen it twice now. For the second time I brought my French wife who absolutely loved it. First of all, the girls are naturally funny entertainers who can make you laugh with their movements, their jokes, their voices and their sketches. Secondly, the show is very well written. They've obviously put a lot of time and personal experience into this, and it shows! Plus, as well as making me and my wife laugh all the way through, this show was very moving for us because it's just so true. This is more than just your average tourist show in English (although it works as that too!) It's also a genuine and hilarious insight into the ex-pat experience. I recommend it to everyone.

I was lucky enough to catch the show on its last night. The performers, Amber and Sarah, were really funny -- full of relatable characters and jokes about becoming French mothers. The thing that most surprised me -- as a single, childless man -- was how much fun I had! I ended up laughing at the situations the performers found themselves in, their portrayals of the people who come into your life during motherhood, and their jokes about French bureaucracy. Don't miss this show, it's really good.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment, le duo Amber l'anglaise et Sarah l'Américaine fonctionne très bien et elles nous font bien rire en partageant leur expérience de maman même si je pense que leur spectacle peut plaire aux personnes sans enfants car avec leur énergie et leur humour elles nous ont font rire de bout en bout. Par ailleurs, leur spectacle est très travaillé mais reste spontané. Leur anglais est très intelligible mais on reconnaît dans le spectacle l'humour british et américain

2 actrices très dynamiques dans un spectacle très amusant. Cependant, l'anglais n'est pas toujours facile à comprendre si vous n'êtes pas à l'aise dans la langue car nos deux ladies parlent très vite.
