An intense, touching rendition of a wonderful play. David Booth and Katherine Connolly cleverly slip in and out of shadows on stage as their emotions unfold and gather momentum. As the chinks in each character are revealed, one warms to the predicaments that explosive Rita and reticent Frank are confronted with. Moving and funny in its rendition of human frailty and desire, this is a unexpected gem for an evening out in Paris.
