De formation classique, c'est en allant à un concert de Harry Connick Jr qu'Helen Sung bascule dans le jazz.

La pianiste, outre de nombreux projets sous son nom, a notamment collaboré avec Clark Terry, Steve Turre, Regina Carter ou encore Terri Lyne Carrington. Après le succès de son dernier album en quintet " Anthem For A New Day " paru en 2014, la pianiste revient en quartet sur la scène du Duc des Lombards.

Graduated from the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, pianist Helen Sung worked with such luminaries as Clark Terry, Steve Turre, Regina Carter and Terri Lyne Carrington. After the success of her sixth album as leader " Anthem For A New Day ", she comes back at the Duc des Lombards with her quartet.
