Jérôme Sabbagh : Vintage American All-Stars Quartet

Jerome Sabbagh est né en France en 1973 et vit à New York depuis 1995. Il a enregistré 8 disques remarqués en leader, avec notamment Ben Monder, Ben Street, Jozef Dumoulin, Greg Tuohey, Rodney Green, Daniel Humair et Rudy Royston. Il a aussi été l'un des derniers saxophonistes de Paul Motian, avec lequel il s'est produit une semaine au Village Vanguard de New York, dans le "New Trio" du légendaire batteur.

Il a joué avec les plus grands musiciens d'aujourd'hui, dont entre autres Mark Turner, Bill Stewart, Nasheet Waits, Al Foster, Victor Lewis et Guillermo Klein. Il vient présenter son nouvel album pour Sunnyside Records, "Vintage" (enregistré avec le légendaire pianiste Kenny Barron) en tournée en Europe, avec un all-stars constitué de Danny Grissett, Joe Martin et Johnathan Blake.
