L for Tango is a delightful musical comedy which wove together the story of tango’s origins, tango music and dancing, the social tango scene, and the unexpected and unbridled passion of Jennifer for Rocco. Piggy Rose is very talented and shifted seamlessly in and out of her roles as vaudeville impresario, Jennifer the bored ponytailed housewife, and Jennifer the reckless slave of passion!! All done with great musicality, vaudeville singing and dancing and an underlying sense of not taking herself too seriously. The entire cast worked extremely well together, the dancers were beautiful, all the actors demonstrated dramatic and comic skills. As a result the whole experience was uplifting and fun. The play, which is an excerpt from a book, explored real-life human relationships driven by toxicity, blind love, and narcissism, within a tango ecosystem and interpreted by a talented pair of actors. The performance proved to be engaging, and what was even more compelling was the thoughtful idea of the artist to invite the audience to gather over drinks and tapas, creating a space for discussion and exchange.

Piggy Rose, oui c'est son nom, nous emmène dans son monde du tango sensuellement et avec humour! Donc une pièce de théâtre tout à fait inclassable mais à découvrir!! Jean et Véro.

I didn't see the time go by. It was amazing. I think the story line handles a delicate subject of adultry but at the same time a woman who is naive and falls into the arms of a man with no scruples. The topic was dealt with humor and the music was very enchanting. I know Piggyrose very well and follow all her shows. Victoria. :)

Un brin coquin, poétique et initiatique au monde du tango . Très divertissant

C'est un très beau spéctacle. Théatre, humour et danse s'entremèlent pour créer une ambiance inoubliable. Bravo à tous les artistes!
