Bassiste, compositeur, arrangeur et Directeur musical du groupe de la chanteuse Imany depuis 2011, cet artiste prolifique a su gagner la reconnaissance de ses pairs grâce à son jeu d'une grande technicité et son style "colorature". Basstry Therapy est un partage avec un public ?dèle qui n'aura pas oublié Moun Karayib et Absoulutely Funk. Quinze titres, dans ce qu'il y a de plus groove, des styles assumés comme le jazz, la fusion ou la Funk, et des harmonies aux accents de son île d'origine, la Guadeloupe. Un album où il se livre et invite ceux qu'il aime pour un voyage musical à la fois organique et spirituel.

After he took part in several music tours and collaborations, when he has gone through many kinds of music and experiences (Keziah Jones, Kassav', Angelique Kidjo...), Stephane Castry is back on stage with his first solo album: Basstry Therapy. The bassist, composer, arranger and Imany's artistic director from 2011, is also a prolific musician benefiting from the recognition of his peers thanks to his great technicity and "coloratura" touch. "Basstry Therapy" was made to be shared by a faithful audience who never forgot neither Moun Karayib nor Absoulutely Funk. 15 groovy tracks, mixing with jazz, merging with funk, singing harmonies from his native island: Guadeloupe, and where Stephane Castry opens up.
