This tour gives an amazing insight into the history of carnival in Paris. The tour guide (Vojin) is very knowledgeable and pleasant! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested :)

The tour is very original and enriching! Vojin, the tour guide, shared with us not only many interesting facts on history of the carnival in France but also put it in a wider economical and political context. We also listened to some good music and read extracts from pieces written by famous authors of that time. All in all, a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon and also learn more about the history of Paris :)

I had a very nice afternoon while walking around Paris discovering so much about its history. The tour was well organised, we had parts where we were just listening, while sometimes we had small tasks to do. And there was a surprise in the end ;) I really recommend it to anyone interested in the culture of Paris, Vojin is genuinely passionate about his topics, and it was a pleasure for my girlfriend and me to listen to him. Thumbs up!

Superbe après-midi, avec des hôtes formidables, de la musique, des photos, des récitations de chansons, des bâtiments, tout est fait pour que nous ayons l'impression d'être au milieu du 19ème siècle. Grande possibilité d'apprendre la vie, les coutumes et le début d'une tradition dans le Paris d'après révolution.

Not your typical tour ment to just give you information. This tour contained history, singing and dancing , which really paint the spirit of the carneval. I definitely suggest the tour and Vojin as a guide :)

Cette balade est authentique et riche en détails sur le carnaval. Le guide est très motivée et prépare des supports visuels et musicaux. D'autant plus, ce n'est pas une visite guidée classique, spoiler alert: préparez-vous à l'interaction! Je recommnde fortement cette balade, surtout aux passionnés de la culture française! 😊

C'est impressionnant de voir quelqu'un tellement passionné pour son travail comme Vojin! Il a penser à tous les détails, mais je ne vais pas en dire plus, pour que vous puissiez bien profite de tour. Si vous aimez la musique, l'histoire et l'art, vous aimerez bien la balade Carnaval. J'ai dois aussi mentionner Sara, l'assistante de Vojin, qui est très sympa et enthousiaste!

This tour offers an authentic carnival experience. You walk down the route of the carnival, listening to the carnival music and carnival stories. You learn about the spirit of carnival and its main characters, and you see it through the eyes of Victor Hugo and listen to it through the ears of Richard Wagner. Finally, you become a part of the carnival yourself. Vojin, and his humble assistant Sara, made this guided tour truly amazing. I would recommend it both to the people visiting Paris for the first time, as well as those passing the same route many times so far, they would see it now through a different lens.

Lors de cette visite, vous avez l'occasion de vous familiariser avec l'histoire du Carnaval de Paris et de découvrir des nombreux faits intéressants sur les rues et quartiers que vous avez déja parcouru. Le guide a soigneusement conçu chaque détail pour rendre l'expérience le mieux que possible (explication picturale, écouter de la musique de carnaval, exemples de masques de carnaval etc.) Certainement une visite que je recommanderais à tout le monde!

C'est agréable de voir quand quelqu'un aime le travail qu'il fait! C'est ainsi que je décrirais Vojin. Cette visite est une belle immersion dans l'atmosphère du carnaval parisien. Cette promenade, basée sur des faits historiques et des descriptions de Victor Hugo, découvre des lieux méconnus et des secrets de Paris. Vojin est un guide passionné, sympathique et poli. Un très beau dimanche à Paris!
